Rescued animals released safely

Imphal, July 21 2024:
Volunteers of People for Animals Manipur safely released animals handed over to them after rescue from residential pockets or found wandering outside their natural habitat.
In a statement, People for Animals Manipur managing trustee L Biswajeet Meitei said that two Keijenglang (Leopard cats) handed over by 22 AR, two leaf turtles, a cobra and one copper headed trinket snake rescued by different individuals were released in their natural habitat by Central Forest Division beat officer Shekharjit Maibam and PFA members under the guidance of CCF (wildlife) L Joykumar and DFO N Ganesh on Sunday.
