ADC Chairman to be elected on Aug 24

CCpur, August 20 2018: The new Chairman for ADC Churachandpur, which have been vacated by Khaipao Haokip, will be held at the District Council Town Office, Hiangtam Lamka on August 24, conveyed an order issued by Athem Muivah, Secretary TA & Hills, Government of Manipur.

The order issued by the Muivah on August 18 further stated that the election of Chairman shall be held at 11 am on August 24 and the Secretary or CEO ADC Churachandpur shall serve notice for the same to all members.

It also cited unfavourable law and order for choosing the District Council Town Office as the venue for the said election.
