Imphal, July 20 2022: Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) conducted a field visit for locals to vermicompost and mushroom farm and carried out awareness training programme on organic farming at Haraorou village in Imphal East district on Wednesday.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the aim of the programme was to make the people aware of organic farming practices along with its health benefits.

The programme will also assist the vision of state government in promoting organic farming culture in Manipur.

A total of 30 locals attended the event.
