Thoubal, April 19 2017: A full dress rehearsal of Khongjom Day 2017 was held this morning at the foothill of Khebaching (Khongjom) .

Thoubal DC Shyamlal Poonia briefed the DLOs and sought the cooperation of all people for the success of Khongjom Day celebration.

The DC and DLOs also took stock of the arrangements besides inspecting Khongjom War Memorial, statue of Paona Brajabashi, Khongjom river (Tarpon site), Sankritan Pandal, Main Pandal and nearby areas.

A cleanliness drive was also organised by Southern Youth Incentive Association, Khongjom Bazar in and around Khongjom Kebaching.
