Keirak iron bridge inaugurated

Kakching, October 18 2021: The iron bridge constructed by Keirak Gram Panchayat over the Sengmai River at Keirak Khongnang Leikai was inaugurated by pradhan Elangbam Shanti Leima on Sunday.

The inauguration programme was attended by Kakching Zilla Parishad member Mayengbam Jayantakumar, Keirak GP upa-pradhan Yumnam Ratankumar, panchayat secretary RK Roshan and ward members, among several others.

Speaking to newspersons, Shanti Leima revealed that new bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 13.2 lakh under the funding of State's Finance Commission Award 2020-21 .
