Quake jolts Manipur-Myanmar border

Imphal, December 17 2013:
An earthquake of slight intensity, measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, shook the border region between the Indian state of Manipur and Myanmar this afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The quake, which had its epicentre at latitude 24.9�N and longitude 94.9�E, occurred at 1304 hours today at a focal depth of 118 km, an IMD bulletin added.
