Imphal, September 17, 2012: In yet another initiative, 46 Assam Rifles of 27 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Red Shield Division conducted a Medical Camp at Munpi village under Churachandpur District on Sep 15.The village is located in a remote and far flug area where basic medical facilities are lacking.

Apart from providing medical checkup and free medicines, the villagers were also educated on basic hygiene and other related issues.

The Medical Camp received an overwhelming response from the locals including surrounding villages, stated a PIB (DW) statement.
