Imphal, July 17 2015 : Altogether 975 numbers of contraband drugs (tablets) known as World is Yours (WY) were seized by troops of 24 Assam Rifles along with a point 32 pistol from an individual at Khudengthabi along Imphal-Moreh highway last afternoon.

The individual apprehended together with the drugs and the pistol has been identified as P Ginsuanthang Zou (33) s/o P Donglian Zou of Moreh Ward No 8 .

Sources informed that Ginsuanthang was heading for Imphal from Moreh on a Suzuki Access scooter when he was halted and checked at Khudengthabi check post.

There the contraband tablets and the pistol were seized from his possession.

He was handed over to Moreh police station along with the seized items last night.
