Imphal, November 16, 2012: A combined team of Thoubal district police commandos and troops of 15 AR arrested a UNLF cadre while conducting a search operation at Kairembikhok Mamang Leikai near Heirok Lamkhai on November 14. In a statement, Thoubal SP identified the UNLF cadre as Khundongbam Ibosana Singh alias Oklaba alias FM (26).One 9mm pistol along with four live rounds was recovered from him.

Meanwhile, two cadres of KCP (MC) were also arrested by Imphal West district police commandos on Novemebr 13 at Khwairamband Bazar area near Johnston Hr Sec School.

A police statement identified the two as Ningthoukhongjam Sushil alias Ingo (31) s/o N Damu of Langthabal Kunja Mamang Leikai and Md Hasim alias Bani (32) s/o Md Amuba of Paobitek Mayai Leikai.
