MUCCESA calls off agitation

Imphal, March 16 2016: An executive body meeting of Manipur University Casual/Contract/ Engaged Staff Association (MUCCESA) was held on March 14 and has decided to lift its proposed strike/agitation slated to begin from March 20, owing to the assurance given by the Vice Chancellor with re- gards to its demand for basic and grade pay under 7th pay commission as recommended by UGC and they are hopeful that the VC will translate his promises into action, conveyed a press release issued by the president of MUCCESA.
