AR celebrates Cheiraoba fest

Imphal, April 15 2018: 6 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised Cheiraoba festival at Canchipur and Singjamei Company Operating Base and participated with the locals in celebrating the festival, informed PRO IGAR (S) in a press release.

Approximately 2100 devotees visited the temple and offered prayers.

Meals were served to people at the end of the function.

The devotees were appreciative of the support given by Assam Rifles for organising the event and the arrangements made, said the release.
