Action against perpetrators

Imphal, May 14 2013:
Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Gaikhangam has assured that stringent action would be taken against those people who reportedly served "Quit Notice" to Meeteis settling in Churachandpur district recently.
A five-member team of United Committee Manipur (UCM) and Churachandpur Meitei Society today met Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam at his office.
The members apprised the Deputy Chief Minister of the recent issue of serving "Quit Notice" by unknown persons during the meeting which lasted from 7 am till 9.30 am.
Gaikhangam assured of all possible measures to hunt down the perpetrators and restore peace and harmony in the State.
