State Bank Day commemorated

The State Bank of India Regional Business Office commemorated the State Bank Day at a function held at the Auditorium of JN Manipur Dance Academy here on Saturday.
During the commemoration, Social worker Thounaojam Iboyaima; Ruth Niangpi Singson, Founder Director of WIDA Welfare Association Asia, Churachandpur; Asem Padamkumar, senior most award staff; Ahanthem Jugindro, SBI senior staff and Aribam Chaoba Sharma were honoured with presentation of gifts.
Lunkim Thangboi, President of SBI Regional Business Office, Imphal, who graced the function as chief guest, informed the gathering that at present Manipur has 32 branches of SBI and 173 ATB booths, and added that SBI is working hard to improve its services by opening more branches across the state.
Dulal Chandra Mandal, AGM of SBI Imphal branch and Dipendu Dev, AGM of SBI Paona Bazar branch attended the function as guest of honour and president respectively.
