Imphal, December 12 2012: KVK Chandel has organised citrus Rejuvenation programme for citrus macroptera (Heiribop) today at Khulsaibung village, Chandel district wherein around 30 farmers actively participated.

K Sonamani, SMS (Agri Engg) explained the importance of soil loss prevention and land preparation techniques (pit digging, half-moon terraces etc) in citrus cultivation, said a statement.

GP Kabui, programme coordinator, deliberated on citrus decline and its rejuvenation.
