Imphal, September 11 2019: At least two have been killed while two others have been injured in a fierce gun fight that ensued between cadres of two rival underground outfits at Saikulphai Suangphumun village in Pherzawl district under Parbung police station today at about 1.30 pm.

During the gunfight two cadres of one underground outfit were killed while two others were injured.

The deceased have been identified as one Seilenmon alias Marcus (32) son of Henkam Singson of Khoujang village of Pherzawl district and Lunminthang alias Mineo of the same village.

One of the injured cadres is identified as Lalboi (36) of Thengkhojang village of Noney district while the identity of the other one could not be established at the time of going to press.
