Khunbi job card holders seek job, wages

Kakching, July 11 2024: Job card holders of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment.

Guarantee Scheme (MGNRES) in Khunbi village under Machi sub-division of Tengnoupal district have urged relevant officials including the DC to provide them jobs as per the scheme.

According to job card holders, all job card holders of MGNRES are entitled to 100 working days per year but job card holders of Khunbi village had only 29 working days in the financial year 2023-24 .

As such, they demanded work for the remaining 71 days and payment of wages.
