Imphal, April 11 2017: All Tribal Students' Union Manipur (ATSUM) has to day provided relief items to villagers of Sirarakhong.

Portion of the village had sunk damaging more than 7 dwelling houses on April 5.Since then, various organisations have been continuously extending aid to the affected villagers.

ATSUM led by its president Joseph Hmar visited the village distributed 12 bags of rice, pulses and 2 bags of potatoes to the victims.

Joseph said that ATSUM will continue to extend all possible assistance to the victims.

He also urged the State Government to take up necessary steps to ease the hardships of the affected families.
