AR organises debate competition

Imphal, September 10 2019: Tulihal Battalion of the 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) organised a debate competition for the students of Wangoi Higher Secondary School, Wangoi today.

The event was organised to generate awareness amongst the young students that in a democratic setup, every citizen has his/her own rights but everyone should also abide by the laws of the Nation, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South).

Based on this theme, the debate competition was organized by Mayang Imphal Company Operating Base.

All participants displayed great maturity, immense knowledge of the topic, presentation and confidence during the debate competition.

Such events not only provide a good break to the students from their hectic school schedule but also help them to cultivate their personalities and improve confidence and logical arguments.

The event concluded with felicitation of the winners with tokens of appreciation, said AR.
