Thoubal, November 09, 2013: In order to impart vocational skills, create awareness and educate the women the Nehru Yuva Kendra has organised a Skill Upgradation Training Programmes (SUTP) for Muslim Minority Women at Keirak Village of Thoubal District.

The inaugural function of the 3 months Skill Upgradation Training Programme in the trade of Tailoring was inaugurated by Thingujam Sanatomba Singh, Pradhan, Keirak Gram Panchayat who attended the function as the chief guest.

Yumnam Laksman Singh, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra Thoubal presided over the function while Md Maniruddin, member, Keirak Gram Panchayat was the guest of honour.

Y Laksman Singh, DYC highlighted about the objective of organising the training programme.

Over 20 Muslim Women will get benefit from the training programme organised by the Keirak Makha Social Welfare Club.
