Imphal, January 09 2019: Wangoi AC MLA O Lukhoi has distributed free LPG connection to 124 women beneficiaries and yarn cards to weavers of the constituency in a simple function held at the community hall of Yumnam Huidrom Thiyam Leishakhong Awang today.

Speaking oh the occasion, O Lukhoi stated that the gas connections were give to the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) scheme.

The scheme was launched to provide healthy and smoke free environment to women.

The MLA said that more beneficiaries will be covered in future.

Thongkhong Lakshmi Municipal Council, Chairperson, Yumnam Jamuna, several Councillors and SK Indane Gramin Vitrak proprietor J Rongmei also attended the function.
