Flowers planted at various parts of Moirang bazar

Bishnupur, October 08 2017: A flower plantation drivewas carried out at various parts of Moirang bazar, as a part of Blooming Moirang’s initiative under ex-MLA, M Prithiviraj Singh, to beautify the bazar and to ensure ample greenery around the bazar areas, a venture which began from March, 2014 .

Moirang Municipal Council Vice Chairperson, M Basanta Singh, Councillor, Ph Madhabi Devi, Councillor, L Chitramani Devi, Councillor, M Bina Devi, Councillor, K Memthoi Devi, ex-Chairperson, S Jibanlata Devi, Manipur University Assistant Professor, Dr G Khelena Devi and volunteers of Blooming Moirang and Youth Empowerment Society (YES) took part in the plantation drive, which was organised by Blooming Moirang and YES .

The participants installed around 100 flowerpots filled with various kinds of flowering plants at specific locations around the bazar as a part of the drive.
