Women vigilantes seize, destroy liquor

Imphal, April 08 2024: Meira paibi members of Heikrujam intercepted two trucks laden with Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) coming from Jiribam side and destroyed the liquor consignment, on Monday.

According to reports, the two trucks (AS 27C 6947, AS 26 AC 1136) were stopped by the meira paibi (women vigilantes) at Heikrujam under Nambol police station around 7 pm.

Later, the liquor consignment found inside the trucks was offloaded and destroyed at Heikrujam Maning Leikai.
