Imphal, January 08 2018: A fire broke out at the residence of one Dr Maibam Chetan (45) of Thangmeiband Watham Leirak, at around 12.30 pm today.

According to information received from the spot, the fire is suspected to have started from electrical short circuit.

Soon after the fire broke out, Manipur Fire Service personnel and fire tenders rushed to the spot and prevented further damage to the property as well as stopped the fire from spreading any further.
