Unknown animal kills poultry, authority suspects dog

Kakching, December 07 2024: In recent days, an unknown animal has been attacking and killing chickens and ducks reared in homes during the night in Hiyanglam Laipanganba area.

Suspected footprints of the animal have been found in various parts of the locality.

Meanwhile, speaking to media persons, Kakching range forest officer Laishram Dinesh stated that upon hearing about the incidents, his staff inspected the affected area.

Based on their findings, they concluded that the attacks were likely caused by dogs, as the footprints appear to match those of a dog.
