Iodine deficiency prevention day observed

Thoubal, November 06 2024: The "Global Iodine Deficiency Disorders Prevention Day 2024" was observed under the aegis of District Health Society, Thoubal at Fancier Higher Secondary School multipurpose hall, Thoubal Okram Wangmataba, on Wednesday.

The observance function was attended by School principal K Sharatchandra and District Health Society's mission director and Thoubal CMO Dr Y Nokul Singh as chief guest and president respectively. A quiz competition was also conducted as part of the observance.
