Imphal, November 02 2015: United Club, IMC ward no 4, Uripok and Uripok Nupi Apunba Lup jointly conducted a public solidarity event on 'Iron Lady Irom Sharmila Against the Armed Forces Special Power Act 1958' at Lainingthou Eshing Chaibi Laibung, Nagamapal today.

Dr Dhanabir Laishram, United Club, IMC ward no 4, Uripok convenor Laikangbam (O) Lotika, IPSA former president Ibotombi Khuman and Peace Foundation trustee Okram Romen attended the solidarity event.

The event called for mass support for Irom Sharmila in her efforts to repeal the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) from the State.
