Jiribam, August 02 2024: A CRPF trooper identified as Prasanna Kumar Deka of C Coy 20 Battalion CRPF was found dead in the toilet of the unit located at Jiribam district police station on Friday around 4 pm.

According to police, Prasanna, son of late Harikant Deka of Manahkuchi village, Assam was found clinging to his service weapon (AK-47) in a pool of blood with a gun-shot wound in his head.
