JAC imposes indefinite shutdown in Sugnu area

Kakching, May 02 2019: Joint Action Committee (JAC) Against the Burning down of St Joseph Hr Sec School, Sugnu has declared a total indefinite shutdown of Sugnu area wef from 6 pm of May 2 in protest against the barbaric arson of the school building on April 25 by some unknown persons, informed a statement released by Information Secy, JAC.

In the statement, it is said that the JAC is compelled to take the extreme steps as the authority concerned failed to book the culprits within the deadline set by JAC on April 30 and appealed the public of Sugnu to bear the hardship in the interest of the students.
