Imphal, April 02 2018: One house was reduced to cinders by a raging fire at Leimakhong Chingmang, Imphal West district at around 5.40 pm yesterday.

The devastated house belonged to one Manu Thiumai (32) s/o Ladpuibo.

Although Manu Thiumai hails from Konsakhul village, Kangpokpi district he has been living at Leimakhong Chingmang for sometime.

Properties worth Rs 8 lakh including cash were destroyed by the fire, informed a source.

The origin of the fire has not been confirmed yet, added the source.
