Imphal, February 01 2016: Scheduled Tribe Demand Committee of Manipur (STDCM) today opened a new branch office at Keirak, Thoubal, our correspondent reports.

In the meantime, STDMC and Public Youth Club (PYC) held a public meeting at PYC ground at Keirak to discuss the 'Inclusion of Meitei/Meetei in the ST list' today.

The public meeting was attended by Keirak GP pradhan Thingujam Sanatomba, former pradhan Kh Ibochouba, Lamjao Meira Paibee president Th Ibeni Devi, STDCM president Dr Yumnam Mohindro, working president M Naodalenkhomba, general secretary L Lokendro were the presidium members of the meeting.

STDCM joint secretaries K Bhogen and Dr Th Ranjit and Hericoun president L Ratankumar graced as guests of honour.
