143 Battalion CRPF hands over waiting shed, solar street lights

The inaugural function of a newly constructed bus waiting shed at Mongjarong Khunou (Rengpang) Noney district and three newly installed solar street lights at Village Khongsang, Noney district were organized by 143 Bn CRPF under the aegis of Anshuman Yadav, IGP M&N under CAP Civic Action Programme.
A press release issued by Commandant, 143 Bn CRPF stated that the bus waiting shed and the solar street light were handed over to the public after inauguration by Ravindra Kumar Mallik, Second-In-Command of 143 Bn, CRPF.
The waiting shed along with the solar street lights were the long cherished dream of the locals and the initiatives will bring relief to the local people of Rengpang, Khongsang and adjoining villages, it said.
The inaugural programme was graced by Ravindra Kumar Mallik, Second-In-Command 143 Bn, CRPF, Vinod Kumar, AC, OC F/143 Bn, Romen Singh, AC, OC A/143 Bn, Kilong D Gonmei Chairman, Khongsang Village, Maisong D, Chairman, Rengpang and Aching Malamai, village secretary Rengpang and other villagers along with women and children were present at the function.
On the occasion, Kilong D Gonmei lauded 143 Bn CRPF for the immense contribution in the region for betterment and development of the villagers.
