Bishnupur, July 28 2019: Mass United Green Association (MUGA) has appealed the authority concerned and Minister not to shift the Sericulture Training Centre (STC) at Kwakta to other places.

A joint meeting participated by members of Jamiat Ulma Kwakta, Kwakta Youth Association, Manipur Muslim Welfare Organisation, Bishnupur District Committee and MUGA, has opposed the proposed 'shifting of the STC', said a statement of MUGA.

It also sought the attention of the Government and appealed it to 'shun the idea of keeping all the major Government institutions at the State capital' to ensure inclusive development.
