Imphal, July 28 2014 : Reacting to Chief Minister O Ibobi's statement given in the Manipur Legislative Assembly and published in some local newspapers on July 17 that a proposal would be sent to the centre for acquisition of 3000 acres of land at Haolenphai village, the village chief Lalkholun Haokip has stated that it is against the customary law and tradition of the village to sell land for any reason.
