Imphal, September 26 2019: Tulihal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised an educational drive on National Skill Development Mission at the Combined English School, Lansonbi Bazar today.

The drive was organised by Patsoi Company Operating Base (COB) with an aim to generate awareness amongst the youth about initiatives by the Government regarding skill training under the 'National Skill Development Mission', said a statement of PRO IGAR (South) .

The students were informed about various initiatives being taken by the Government under the Mission.

They were also informed on the National Policy on Skill Development which has set a target for skilling 500 million persons by the year 2022 .

Over 100 students of the school attended the programme, said AR.
