Imphal, November 25 2019: Moltuk Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a medical counselling and health check up at Phaisanjang village yesterday.

The camp aims to increase awareness of the locals regarding major health and sanitation issues and measures to lead a healthy lifestyle.

The camp was led by Regimental Medical Officer and witnessed huge participation of the local population who seemed eager and willing to adopt measures and habits to lead a healthy lifestyle.

A total of 112 individuals benefited from the initiative, said a press release issued by PRO, IGAR.

The continuous and relentless efforts of Moltuk Battalion and the series of events organsied by the Battalion for the welfare of the locals were greatly appreciated.

Meanwhile, the statement added that such initiatives have greatly improved the level of interaction between the security forces and the villagers.
