NACWA (Nungba Area Citizens' Welfare Association) serves ultimatum

Imphal, October 25 2012: The Nungba Area Citizens' Welfare Association has warned of launching indefinite total bandh along NH-37 from November 5 if the BRTF authority fails to take up construction work of Rongdai-Nungba stretch of the highway within November 4 .

The association has served an ultimatum to the 25 BRTF, Uchathol, Jiribam to this effect.

The ultimatum highlighted the problems faced by public of Nungba Bazar area due to dust pollution emanating from incomplete and unmanned National Highway.

It warned that the association would launch indefinite total bandh along the highway in association with the general public and like-minded civil societies from Nov 5 if the BRTF authrotiy fails to take up any measure within November 4 .
