Imphal, February 23 2016: Expressing strong concern over the alleged irregular functioning and absence of staff of various departments like Horticulture and Soil Conservation at SDO/BDO of Kasom Khullen, the Headmen and Elders' Forum (HEFO), Kasom Khullen urged the authority concerned to look into the matter at the earliest. In a statement, HEFO pointed out that the SDO/ BDO office at Kasom Khullen is without SDC much to the inconvenience of the people of the area. It further pointed out that the new road cutting of the Hongbei road, construction of which is taken up by ABCI company under ADB funding, is too steep that no loaded heavy vehicles could passed through it.

It urged the authority concerned to look into the matter at the earliest.
