Imphal, June 22 2016: An emergency general body meeting of the teaching and non-teaching staff was held today in the De- partment of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR), RIMS and all the staff strongly con- demned the physical assault of the staff on night duty at the PMR ward yesterday at 9.50 pm by K Meghachandra, MLA of Wangkhem A/C.As a mark of protest to such inhumane act by an elected member, the meeting decided to take up cease work strike on June 23 and 24, informed a press release.
