Ukhrul, August 21 2021: Medical superintendent of Ukhrul District Hospital Dr Raikhan has been tested positive for Covid-19.He is among 11 new cases detected in the district on Saturday.

Consequently, the district administration has declared the quarters of the medical superintendent as containment zone.

Other areas declared as containment zone in the township include SP's quarters Kamphasom, Viewland Zone-II and Longpi Holy Spirit School quarters.

On the other hand, the district administration has lifted containment zones from six areas in Dungrei Hungpung, Phungreithang West and Rayotang.
