Assam Rifles lighten up Natjang village

Imphal, March 21 2018:
26 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) donated five solar street lights providing a huge relief to the villagers of Natjang village in Ukhrul district who do not have regular electric supply being located in a remote area.
The donation of street lights was part of Operation Sadbhavana project.
The inauguration of the project was carried out by T Shyam Kumar Singh, SDC, Kasom Khullen, said a statement issued by the IGAR South.
Expressing gratitude for the assistance, the villagers pledged to continue their support for security forces in the area.
