Imphal, November 20 2011: All Manipur Accredited Social Health Activists' Workers' Union has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister for redressal of the grievances over 100 percent reserve/quota for appointment of ASHA facilitators from among qualified and experienced candidates.

Signed by its General Secretary N Binodini Devi, the memorandum demanded that the appointment of ASHA facilitators be reserved for the qualified ASHA workers or if the ASHAs have passed class X and has five years of work experience for smooth implementation of State Health Society and National Rural Health Mission.
