Seminar dissects life and works of Swami Vivekananda

A two-day seminar on life and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda organised by Auxiliary Service for Human Affairs (ASHA) under the sponsorship of Ministry of Culture concluded at Khurai Puthiba community
hall on Wednesday.
Speaking at the valedictory function, Social Welfare director Ngangom Uttam pointed out that the numerous literary works left behind by Swami Vivekananda are wealth of the people and his
philosophical ideas will be helpful to the students in particular.
Students will surely face laziness and boredom in their lives, but the inspiring words of Swami Vivekananda will lighten and encourage them, he opined.
Among others, the function was also attended by renowned playwright, director and critic Budha Chingtham.
An elocution competition was also held and prizes distributed as a part of the function.
