Imphal, September 19 2015 : During a night area domination, troops of 20 Assam Rifles noticed movement of two individuals attempting to mount a gas cylinder on a Honda Activa on Pallel-Chandel road.

Seeing the Assam Rifles troops, suspected individuals fled from the spot leaving behind the two-wheeler and the gas cylinder, said a press release issued by PRO Hqs IGAR (S) .

Locks of the vehicle were found broken and after detailed investigation, owner of the bike was traced.

The white coloured Activa belonged to Ksh Nilchand Singh of Pallel Mamang and the gas cylinder belonged to Mutum Sabita Devi of Pallel Mamang Leikai.

The Activa owner revealed that his bike had been stolen from his house by breaking open the lock of his garage last night.
