Imphal, August 19 2015: Urging the State Government to come out with a Bill for the protection of the indigenous people at the earliest, the Islamic Development Council (IDC), Manipur has appealed to all concerned to maintain sensitivity while staging protests and enforcing strike/bandh.

In a statement, IDC expressed apprehension that the ILPS movement is slowly deviating from the desired direction as agitators did not spare even emergency service providers.

Due to the sporadic and prolonged agitation, the price of essential commodities has soared up.
