Association urges for service regularisation

Thoubal, July 18 2022: All Manipur Zilla Parishad Non-Regular Employees' Association has appealed to the state government to regularise service of the employees, who have been working on contract and casual basis in the ZP offices of the six valley districts of the state since 1997 .

A meeting of the association was held at the Panchayat training hall, DC Complex, Thoubal on Monday afternoon with association president Md Maniruddin in the chair.

Addressing a press meet after the meeting, Maniruddin said that altogether 37 employees have been working in the ZP offices since 1997 .

They had appealed to the government to regularise their services on multiple occasions but no initiatives have been taken up till date.

He then appealed to the government to understand their hardships and regularise their service as soon as possible.
