Imphal, June 17 2018: Moreh Bn of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQIGAR (South) organized a "Cleanliness and Sanitation Drive" at Thangbung Minou village, Tengnoupal district today.

One officer from the Bn highlighted that cleanliness and sanitation is not only about keeping clean, removing dirt but also about protecting the environment and its local resources.

He urged the people to reduce the harmful effects of pollution and take adequate sanitation practices to improve health and hygiene and promote sustainable development.

The event was participated by 35 individuals.

The village chief lauded AR for organising such enlightening and educative event.
