CPI Imphal East extends support to 'Farmers' Protest'

Imphal, January 17 2021: Communist Party of India (CPI) Imphal East extended their full support to the ongoing 'Farmers' Protest' against the Farm Bills.

The decision was taken at a meeting of CPI Imphal East held yesterday near Andro Santhei Park which was attended by L Sotinkumar, secretary, CPI Manipur State Council and A Bhogen, said a statement issued by CPI MSC.

A discussion on worsening conditions of farmers despite toiling every day and misappropriation of funds meant for farmers was also held at the programme, added the statement.
