Imphal, January 17 2020: Unidentified armed individuals have abducted four workers who are engaged by a private construction company in the Jiribam-Tupul railway construction works being carried out under the North East Frontier Railways.

According to a reliable source, the four workers engaged with Bhartia Infra Projects Ltd (BIPL), a Guwahati based firm, were abducted by some armed individuals from a stone crushing unit at Makru at around 11.45 am of January 15 .

The source further identified the abducted individuals as supervisor Mintu Lasker, supervisor Dev Kumar Mahanto, mobile crusher Hemento Singh and Guna Singh.
