Tamenglong, November 16 2019: Land and Properties Owners' Association NH-37/39 has indefinitely boycotted NHIDCL with effect from November 17 as a result of the failure to give a positive response regarding the payment of land compensation in respect of Tupul to Phaitol along NH 37 .

A press release issued by information secretary of the association has halted Bharatiya coy, Nithdhi coy and Hvs (Bikram) coy executing under NHIDCL along NH-37 from carrying out their works.

It said that, during the bandh, no vehicles of NHIDCL and contractors or authorities concerned will be allowed to pass along the highway.

It further warned that NHIDCL will be responsible if any untoward incident happens during the bandh.
