Medical camp conducted at relief camp

Imphal, July 16 2024:
United Committee Manipur (UCM) along with Bishnupur chief medical officer Dr Rachandra organised a free medical camp at the Kwakta relief camp on Tuesday.
According to UCM Moirang the medical camp was conducted to help people displaced by the conflict stay safe and healthy, particularly in the aftermath of recent case of suicide and life-bid by camp residents.
It also drew the attention of government regarding shortages at the relief camp set up at Kwakta where 200 families numbering around 800 people are taking shelter in prefabricated houses.
